Privacy Policy

This page explains which data is and is not processed when you visit. Arao AI is primarily a public content site and signing in is optional; the policy is deliberately short because the facts are simple.

Third-party scripts

Public pages load one Google script: Google Analytics (GA4, to measure traffic). Google may collect browsing information (such as pages visited, referral sources, and device or browser details) for measurement and traffic statistics; this site only receives de-identified aggregate reports, and your on-site browsing is not recorded, profiled, or resold by us. (Google AdSense was fully removed on September 25, 2026 and is not loaded.)

Cookies

On public pages, Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) distinguish visitors and sessions. Google AdSense was fully removed on September 25, 2026, so no AdSense cookies are read or written currently (if re-enabled in the future, its cookies would be used for ad delivery, frequency capping, and fraud prevention). The site itself sets no cookies for public visitors; first-party cookies exist only for login sessions — the operator's admin console session, and your user session after you explicitly sign in with Google (cleared when you sign out). You can clear or block third-party cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Account data (Google sign-in)

You can sign in with your Google account; every public page remains fully accessible without signing in. During sign-in we receive your email address, Google display name, and avatar URL from Google, used solely to create and identify your account — we read nothing else from your Google account and never act on your behalf. Once signed in, you can set a nickname and bio and upload a custom avatar (JPG / PNG / WebP, up to 2MB) on the "My profile" page; your nickname, bio, and avatar serve as your on-site identity, while your email is read-only and never shown publicly. This data lives only on this site's own server (avatar files are stored under the uploads/ directory of the deployment and backed up daily together with the database) and is never given to any third party.

Server logs

Access logs (IP address, time, requested path) are kept on the server for a limited time, following standard practice, solely for security and troubleshooting. They are not used for profiling and are never shared with third parties.

Ads and outbound links

Ads on this site are outbound links configured by the operator (labeled "Ad"), which take you off this site. Google AdSense was fully removed on September 25, 2026 — no AdSense ads are loaded currently (if re-enabled in the future, their content and data handling would be governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy). Third-party sites and services have their own privacy policies, and this site is not responsible for their content or data handling.

Data sharing

This site never sells, shares, or transfers personal information. Public browsing collects none; signed-in users' account data (email, nickname, bio, avatar) stays on this site's own server, and only Google handles your identity verification at sign-in under its own privacy policy.
